Charitable Partners

Banner Environmental puts a priority on giving back to non-profit organizations dear to us in the Massachusetts and Rhode Island area. Here are some of our recent charitable partners.

  • Avon Walk for Breast Cancer – The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks raise awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer. Each event is a noncompetitive 3 to 5 mile walk that brings people together to make a difference for everyone who has been touched by breast cancer. The events raise money to fund innovative research, provide free information and support, and to help people reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it’s most treatable.
  • Brockton Hospital & Signature Healthcare – Signature Healthcare is Southeastern Massachusetts’ premier local provider of quality, personalized medical services. We are comprised of the award-winning not-for-profit Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital; Signature Medical Group (SMG), a multi-specialty physician group of more than 150 physicians practicing in 18 ambulatory locations; Signature Healthcare Foundation; and the Brockton Hospital School of Nursing.
  • Cradles to Crayons – 368,000 children in Massachusetts live in low-income or homeless situations. Cradles to Crayons is driven by a focused and all-important goal: to make life better for children in need. To make this happen, it takes a wide variety of individuals and groups coming together to make a difference in their local communities.
  • Dana Farber – Since its founding in 1947, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts has been committed to providing adults and children with cancer with the best treatment available today while developing tomorrow’s cures through cutting-edge research.
  • Mercymount Country Day School – Mercymount is an independent, Catholic school serving Cumberland and surrounding towns in Northern Rhode Island and Massachusetts since 1948
  • Pine Street Inn – Pine Street Inn provides a comprehensive range of services, including permanent supportive housing, job training and placement, emergency shelter and street outreach to nearly 2,000 homeless men and women each day. Founded in 1969, Pine Street is the largest resource for homeless men and women in New England.
  • The Polito Committee
  • Simpson College – Simpson College is an independent, selective, church-related, comprehensive liberal-arts college dedicated to excellence in higher education.
  • Spence T. Brennan Foundation – The Spence T. Brennan Scholarship Fund has been established to award Scholarships to students pursuing careers in environmental protection. The possibilities for study and careers in the environmental arena are vast and unrestricted.
  • Ursuline Academy – Ursuline Academy, founded in 1946, is an independent school rooted in the Catholic faith. We seek to prepare young women for higher education and for life by providing them with a rigorous college preparatory education, a nurturing environment that supports character development, and an orientation toward service to others.
  • Weary Travelers – The Weary Travelers Club is a private club with a function facility in Monument Beach, MA. The function hall is run by a volunteer board of directors as a service to our community.  They are especially proud of being able to facilitate fundraising events for your causes, and last year alone over $100,000 was raised in our hall for local causes. Their events are held to raise funds for local charities including The Bourne Food Pantry and The Masonic Angel Fund as well as the Building Fund which helps us provide the hall for our community.
